Yakima Valley Season 2017

It has been a plentiful 2016/2017 winter wonderland in Yakima Valley. We had abundant snow fall this season. I have no seen this much snow accumulation the eight years that I have lived here in Washington State. Here was lots of opportunity's for snow sledding with my family, we built snowmen in our front yard. Had a few snow ball fights too, good times. With all this snow fall the hill sides look like giant snow cones, I will definitely be reminiscing this image in the summer. The snow melt will bring with it cause for concern of flooding in some areas and much needed ground water supply for our agriculture around the area. The sun has just begun to pick out and begin to melt some of the snow. I never realized how bight and happy the sun makes me feel. I can't wait to see the new blooms of flowers to start emerging! Spring a sign of new begging's.
