Camp Day 8
Twin Lakes, Spokane Reservation |
Sunset on Lookout Point |
Today we all sleep in, it was much needed. I enjoyed all the different songs of the bird species around our camp site. It was a sweet serenade straight from natures finest singers. We were given a compass training from Pedro Chavarria and we went on an excursion hunt. This afternoon we drove to Twin Lakes to cool off in the water. Shortly after dinner we meet with Warren and Lisa Seyler tribal members and they drove us out to “Lookout Point” to enjoy the sunset and catch a glimpse of the sunset. We climbed up a tower at the top of a mountain, I have to admit it was scary climbing the tower but even scarier getting down. It was a good day, relaxing. Thank you.
